Army capture 2 terrorists, destroy camps


The Director of Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Usmanannounced to newsmen that troops of 81 Battalion and 251 task force Battalion, have cleared Boko Haram camps located inSambisa and Alagarno forests.

Usman also revealed that two terrorists-  Mustapha Busuru (50 years old) and Usman Abubakar (56 years) were captured.
ThisDay reports that Usman said "They also recovered two Toyota pick up vans, 40 motorcycles, Improvised Explosives Making Devices (IEDs), stockpile of foodstuffs and fuel dump. The patrol team also recovered horses and donkeys used for transportation by the terrorists.”
Troops waging war against Boko Haram in the North-East, also killed Kill 167 terrorists, and rescued 350 hostages.
The Army spokesperson also called on the citizens to be extra-vigilant and security-conscious as part of efforts to tackle insecurity in the country.
Recently, the Nigerian Army handed over 12 top officers to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for investigation.
