After allegedly raping his 15-year-old daughter, a driver identified as Ike Iwuanyanwu was arrested last week, in Ajao Estate, Isolo, Lagos state.
According to reports, Iwuanyanwu had gotten his daughter pregnant and warned his wife not to tell anyone about what transpired. Mrs Iwuanyanwu however informed her family members who proceeded to her school to confirm the information from the 15-year-old.
Mrs Iwuanyanwu’s family members had also reported the story to the state ministry of Youth and Social Development, who in turn reported to the police, leading to Ike’s arrest.
According to a neighbour of the Iwuanyanwus, the 15-year-old victim is the first child of the family, she also revealed that Ike has confessed to his crime, claiming he raped his daughter because his wife denied him of s*x.
